Question: Is there something wrong with me if I don't like HUGS.?
I'm 15 and I really hate it when people try to hug me, like my sister. Maybe its cause while I was growing up I wasn't hugged that much.? Honestly I don't really remember being hugged for a while. When people try to hug me I'm like repulsed and I really don't like it. The thing is, I don't mind when guys hug me. Which is weird because as I was growing up my parents were divorced (since I was 3) and lived thousands of miles apart, so its not like I got that many hugs from my Dad. What's up with me.? Is this bad.?
I also kinda have an anxiety disorder that occurs when I'm in crowds... so perhaps that's related, but I don't get why the dislike of hugging wouldn't apply to guys.

If you didn't really get many hugs that could be why, I didn't get that many hugs when I were younger, I'm 15 now and I'm sorta getting used to getting hugs..It could be something you grow into or not.. it depends on the person I think..Health Question & Answer

It sounds like you have a very large personal space. I'm like that too. I hate it when somebody tries to force a hug, or even worse, a kiss.
You don't have a problem, the other people do. They should learn to keep their hands to themselves.

lol, liking to hug with a guy is normal (i guess, lol) and some girls find it great to hug each other (which i find pretty lame) so there's nothing wrong with you :p it's just the way you're "constructed" lolHealth Question & Answer
There is nothing wrong with you,its just you probably started or have gone used to guys hugging you.You probably feel more comfortable when they do.
