Examples are hearing two voices talking to each other saying stuff about how I am crazy, nobody loves me, etc. Complex hallucinations I have had include one time I was taking a shower and a penny fell from above and hit my shoulder. I picked it up and put it in my penny jar. I believed at the time that this was a message from my dead grandmother telling me to invest my money, which I did into mutual funds. I also heard God's voice. I also have what they call affective flattening where I don't show facial expression when I talk. That is a symptom of schizophrenia.
