i always thought it was expensive because they have to buy like 20-40 dollars worth of weed a week-ish and then they buy all that food to make up for the munchies. except im friends with some potheads right now all they do is share weed i mean they are the nicest people ever!!! and i feel like they don't care about money or anything...Health Question & Answer

They probably don't, because they're stoned. But you'll notice that they also don't *have* any money.
I was a pothead for a while. Sure, it starts at 40 a week, but once your tolerance has started to go up, you'll spend more and smoke more, because the amount you used to smoke doesn't get you high anymore.
At the worst of it, I was spending almost $200 a week on pot. I had a stoner friend who spent $400+. But you saved money on munchies, because once you're that bad, you don't eat anymore, so you don't need to buy food. It also gets easier to spend more time smoking pot, since your non-stoner friends are all getting disgusted with you and you've probably lost your job for coming in too stoned to work over and over, if you came in at all.
Really, I wouldn't recommend it.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not a stoner-hater. I have friends that are stoners, and I still smoke once in a while. If you're happy being a stoner, great. But it's not the most productive life plan, let's be honest.
EDIT: The responder below me is wrong - marijuana, no matter how much you smoke, does not have withdrawal. Quitting will not make you sick. At the VERY worst, you may feel a bit tired and bored. Your appetite may also take a while to come back. But that's it. I went from smoking almost 2 eighths a day (which I had been maintaining for several months) to nothing in the course of less than a week, and I felt fine.Health Question & Answer

It's super expensive. Your friends that do that stuff are probably just nice because of the stuff they're on. I'm not trying to be mean, I just think that's why.
But I hope you're not planning on it because once you start it's super hard to stop and stopping could ruin your life because of cravings and you get sick.

as long as your friends are not getting into any trouble. And by the way, please dont do pot, because one thing will lead to another and you guys WILL get caught. and if the cops ask about your friends; THEY DONT DO POT. ;)Health Question & Answer
