Doctor has changed medication?!
Question: Doctor has changed medication.?
I was on apripiprazole, risperidone, fluoxetine and zopiclone my doctor has to me off all except fluoxetine and put me on olanzapine 5mgs, I took my first dose of olanzapine at 6pm and I am still not tired.
can any one tell me if it is it the of the zopiclone why the olanzapine is not making me drowsy and how long before I will feel the sedative benefits from OlanzapineHealth Question & Answer

It's going to take a while before you feel the benefits of the medications. Some people have different reactions to medications, like it makes most people sleepy, but not everyone. For example I was once on a heavy anti-anxiety that was supposed to make me sleepy, but it made me wired. I also take Zyrtec, which makes most people sleepy, but it gives me energy. It could be Olanzapine is not going to make you tired.
