Answers:
I don't think they ever fully go away.

but that's just me.

And it's offensive to say "You SHOULD be on meds." You are not a doctor and that's more judgment than an actual answer.

We all know the same thing- it is present when there is simply no other means of coping.

but mental health isn't a science- it's a theory.

And those who have been under a doctor's care know what happens when you say those words. Depending on your doctor, they can put you in a psyche ward. And I know- psyche wards, if you shouldn't be in them, literally break your mind and cause you to have problems. They aren't a place to heal- it's where they stick you to keep you and others safe (immediate intervention) and put meds in you to get levels up.

Anyway...I wonder the same answer. I don't believe it's a learned behavior, but something that is in certain people.Health Question & Answer

Yup, I'm also 'crazy'.
I say that in a very loose term. I have BPD,and on medication.

I'm also a cutter and been labeled as having "suicidal tendencies"

To answer your question, I have never actually tried to commit suicide, and I don't think I ever would try. But I still think about it from time to time.

I would love to tell you that it goes away! But in my experience it hasn't.
It's just one of those thing I hav to deal with from time to time.

Just being honest.Health Question & Answer

Perhaps you are just unconsciously waiting to get used to your new mentality and forgiving yourself for the past. Maybe you just need to find other things to occupy your mind besides attacking this problem you have. Thinking can be a funny thing, when you fight it the wrong way, it can really make things worse.

i know how you feel, i have been living with "diagnosed" mental illness for 3 years now. Im 17 and no, the thoughts never stop, they never slow down or get any less intense. Its a living nightmare really.Health Question & Answer

Are you on any medications.? If not you should be, did you tell your mental health worker about these thoughts.? Any suicidal thoughts should be reported right away! Please go in and tell them.Health Question & Answer
