i'm 5'3 or 5'4 106lbs, but i feel really big, i know some people will hate me for thinking it, and call me shallow. but i'm not a shallow person, i dnt know why i'm so down.

i have had 'troubles' with this for 2 years now (eating problems, restrict, weight to 90, up to 120 all over the place), i am waiting to get help for depression.

but today when someone said a girl was slimmer then me (my mate is slimmer then me, i know that) but i still went psycho, and was bawling my eyes out, and couldn't breathe (kinda panicky) i know it sounds pathetic, but i couldn't help it.

i also have this thing where i keep having to wash 'fat' of me, i keep seeing curses on my door handle so i can't open it. and when i do i have to wash.

this is all getting me so down, im trying my best to lose weight, but its so slow at going down.

no mean comments please, or any of the whole, you're so shallow,self-obsessed crap, you don't know me, i know i'm not, i don't know whats going on here, its so uncontrollable

First of all your not fat and that weight you mentioned is not bad at all.

i think youve got some case of mental condition that alot of people get were you get so deperate in your case to loose weight, that you start thinkin that you can wash the fat off you (which is un true obviously). i dont know how old you are but if you at school or going through pubity eetc. you may be feeling like this because of your hormones going through big changes and it affects many people our age. im 15 and ive started thinking that everyone is looking at me and i get paranoid aswell as others though they may not show it. by the time were older at about 20 we should feel better and these worries will probly go i promise. so id get help if i was you by experts and it's not the best idea too look for answers on yahoo answers lol. good luck xx and i hoped i helped :D ps. your not fat!Health Question & Answer

Well, I don't want to pretend like I know what to do, but i have some tips that can help you out!

Firstly, if you are 5'3'' and 106 lbs, you are just within the normal weight range, if you lose more weight you will be underweight. For a girl, being underweight is bad, because you need a certain fat % for child bearing purposes. If you lose too much weight, you can even lose your menstrual cycle. SO, you don't really need to lose weight. Don't be so hard on yourself. As a teacher of mine once said, "It's okay to want to be beautiful, but its not okay to hate yourself"

I can't help all the things that you have listed, however, i hope just knowing some of this information will make you think things from a different perspective. Don't worry, you're DEFINITELY not overweight. I'm an inch shorter than you, and I weigh around five pounds more.

It just sounds like you have some insecurity issues. So make a list of all the good qualities that you have (or have others do it for you, if you want). Go shopping with all of your friends and find a lot of clothes that you absolutely LOVE, and compliment you. Try to have some more self-confidence, and do anything that you can in order to do so. (So long as it doesn't hurt other people, of course.)

sounds like maybe you may have some sort of OCD, you should definitely seek some help, and not settle on waiting, this is not healthy mental state that your in. Think back 2 yrs ago what traumatic thing happened to you or around you that made you feel out of control. they say that weight issues is usually due to not feeling in control or feel that you have any control but the constant washing sounds a little OCD too, so get some professional help. If you benefits plan offers EAP(employee assistance program) you can look in to that to seek help or get started on help, it's a program that assists you on finding the right help for you not only counseling but for legal issues, finding day care, financial planning and such. That would be a good place to start or of course your medical plan as well.
