Im very confused here?!


Question: Im very confused here.?
Ok so i have OCD.
I have good weeks and then Very Bad!
I currently take 200mg of zoloft.
I keep having thoughts like "What's the point of life", and "Why am i living for"
I know that i am not depressed, because i am still happy and find enjoyment.
I don't know what to do.?
I would never do anything to myself, i just need some help destroying these thoughts.
I will not change my medication.
Yes, my parents know that i have problems.

Maybe you could get some therapy that's specifically for OCD sufferers. It sounds to me like it's just the OCD talking. If you can make the idea ridiculous, the OCD gets offended because everything is "very serious." Or you can just tell the OCD to shut up. Seeing it as separate from your core self helps you get a little objectivity. This is going to sound lame but I am going to say it anyways.

I think we spend entirely too much time consumed with ourselves. We over think, over analyze things in our little world to death. There is however a cure that is proven to work. I've seen it first hand with myself and I've seen others do it to and they where equally happy with the results.

Ever done something random just to help someone else out.? Here's my challenge for you and trust me, i know your not going to want to do this at first but if you do you will see a change in your life.

Doing something simple.. make about 20 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, next make 20 more of ham and cheese.
Now hit the streets.. find people who have nothing. Give them something.. something as simple as a sandwich and smile to show them they do exist and you do care about them. Take some old clothes you might not wear anymore with you. Ask someone if they may need it. Help others who have nothing.. make a difference in one persons life and i promise you .. your attitude will change when you know you helped another human being out.

You won't have time to think about being down. You will be too busy lifting someone else up.. I promise you again this works miracles in your life as well as someone elses. Health Question & Answer
