After you take your meds, do you ever worry that you didn't take the right ones?!

Question: After you take your meds, do you ever worry that you didn't take the right ones.?
Every single time I take my meds, I'll get worried I didn't take the right ones. Then I keep going back and checking. Does anyone else do this.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Depending on the amount you are checking, you may have features of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. However, this is only a possibility if the checking is excessive. Have your psychologist check that out. Treating this may help your symptoms. also, having a parent or caregiver give you the meds may be helpful.

On the other hand, if it is not excessive or particularly troublesome, it is very likely normal. Everybody worries about things like these, especially if it is important for your health (and this is!).

It sounds normal, but if it is excessive, get it checked out so you can get those symptoms under control and feel better.Health Question & Answer

Well, I don't worry because I keep my nights meds and day meds in different places!

However, I was visiting Chicago with my mum a few years back and by mistake I took my night-time (very powerful) SLEEPING meds in the morning. She left me sleeping on a corner couch in the art gallery for a few hours as she happily took it all in :)
