Question: How do i become... happier.? Please help.?
Ever since i lost a best friend, have a boyfriend <3, so much drama going on, etc, i haven't been at my happiest. It seems like i have to live a lie, from school to home. My mom has no idea who i Really am. Im not sure if i do either. My grades are going down. The only way im really happy is when im stuck in my room listening to music alone. What things will help me live a happier life. I have no idea what to do. Im a big procrastinator, and i have no time to really chill with my friends and my boyfriend. We have no classes together in school, and its hard to make room for schoolwork, relations, and everything else. Pleaseee helppp.Health Question & Answer

I may have some things that can help. Think about what are you spending most of your time on. Is it causing more drama or worrying about life.? Sometimes you need to take a step back and see what you want to be in 10 years. You can then point out some behaviors that won't lead you there, but will bring you down. I understand your situation with losing loved ones, but don't let it consume you! Take control of your life. Go to a public place like a library or coffee shop, tell friends you have to do work, and work alone for the next few hours. I feel that this something that is most urgent and calls for your attention. While you sit down to study, don't let yourself get distracted with internet or phone calls. Remind yourself this is what you have planned to do and you will do that and nothing else until you are done. Force yourself to focus. It may be difficult, but it is good training for your mind at the same time. You can learn how to concentrate on school. Tackle the problem, don't shy away from it. The only reason you procrastinate is because you try to put things back. Instead, you can try doing a little a day. If you have a paper to write, first read the directions and think about your subject. After a day, come back, and do an outline. It won't take up too much time but you will be getting things done. That way, you avoid the stress of doing things last minute.

And when you are more organized in school, you can then hang out with friends and boyfriend. Don't spend all your time procrastinating! That's a waste when you could be forcing yourself to work!
