Its only worth it if you truly love him. My friend is bipolar, and when hes not on his meds he's not the greatest person to be around sometimes. I know that if I was in his situation though, I wouldn't want to be left alone. Loneliness is a painful burden, just to remind you.

There are some really great treatments out there for individuals with BiPolar. If he's BiPolar and is not getting help of any kind, I"m afraid to say it could be a lost cause...he needs to get treatment. with proper medication and therapy they usually live life fine.is there a doc involved.?that will help and taking meds on time.i have been with my husband for many years and he is...we get along fine as long as he does what hes suppose to do....mood swings are awful and bipolars can sometimes be misdiagnosed and end up on the wrong meds which make them worse.
