What are some of your ocd rituals?!
Question: What are some of your ocd rituals.?
Answers:
I constantly wash my hands after I touch random objects in restaurants. It makes me hands feel grimy, but no matter how many times I wash them the feeling doesn't go away for hours. When listen to the radio in my car, the volume HAS to be at an EVEN number- same goes with TV and everything else with numbered volume. I also have this strange ritual where I have to share a two pack of Reese's with someone every single weekday. I have to open the pack the same way, hand a Reese's to the person in a certain way, eat it a certain way, and make sure I I throw away the pack without it getting crushed or anything. I freak out if anything in my day is out of order as well. A friend of mine that I go to lunch with everyday didn't go to school, and it ruined my whole day. I wasn't used to walking to lunch by myself, so I just didn't go at all because I feel as if I go to lunch without here, it will change the course of everything for the rest of the day. I freak out over small things. I can't wear my watch on my left arm, ever. I count how many steps I take on tiled floors, and if I have a drink with ice in it.. I have to have exactly 6 pieces of ice.
I have more, but I'll stop there. I know, it's strange... but I'm being completely serious.Health Question & Answer

I constantly touch things, flip lightswitches over and over until it feels 'right', check locks, count things, sound out words i already know over and over again until I can continue my thoughts, tapping, retracing my steps- even if im not looking for anything. I found that prozac helped- I used to have racing thoughts and my OCD would get to the point of unbearable. I used to cry all the time because I knew I was different and felt "crazy".Health Question & Answer

Health Question & Answer
checking things over and over usually 6 times.
I have a large fear of feeling physical pain or seeing someone I care about in physical pain. So I'm a huge safety nut. Thats usually the kind of things I check over and over. e.x. helmet is on tight enough, doors are locked, shoes are not coming untied.
