Is this something to worry about?!

Question: Is this something to worry about.?
I have been seeing mental health team for a year but they have only said i am suffering with depression, low self esteem and anxiety but i am starting to think there is something else going on.
I have very bad mood swings
I can get very angry at people and sometimes i hate people but the next moment i will be fine
I get attached to certain people who i become obsessed with and want to be just like them which means i want to change my career all the time because i end up wanting to be like them
I get very paranoid and convince myself that everyone hates me
If something goes wrong i end up thinking that is the end of the world so i become suicidal which happens a lot
I see people as bad or good and once i make my mind up it is very hard to change it
I see myself as very bad
I self harm
I hate rejection and will not trust people unless i have an attachment at the time
My moods are the worse when i go into a low it is bad and can last for a very long time duing this time i do not care about anything, i will be rude to people, i just don't care i am angry at everyone.
I have been assessed for bipolar which i didn't have so i know it is not that so does anyone have any suggestions.? I know you are not doctors i am just wanting opinions Health Question & Answer

I know you said you were assessed as not having bipolar but that is what it sounds like to me. There are different levels of bipolar. I don't know how old you are but bipolar is most likely to start when you are in your late teens or early 20's. Well, that is my opinion. I hope I helped somewhat at least.Health Question & Answer

you sound just like me hun, and i have chronic depression. iv been seeing a psychiatrist for 5 years and a psychologist for over two years, before that i had a therapist but she was not qualified enough to help me. i hope you are getting all the help you need and the right medication, im on two mood stabilisers which seem to help more than the antidepressant. xxxHealth Question & Answer

The cause of these symptoms is the "reactive mind".

Read about it in "Dianetics: The modern science of mental health".
After reading it, you can decide whether or not you would like therapy.

It works. Good Luck xHealth Question & Answer

Sounds a lot like me and sounds like you could have Borderline Personality Disorder. You should mention this idea to your doctor or your mental health team.

Here is a website that tells a little about it. I'm currently reading a book on BPD because I'm positive I have it. If the symptoms sound like you, try to look for some BPD books at your library. If it doesn't sound like you, try just checking out books on mental health/disorders. Best of luck to you.Health Question & Answer

It sounds like you maybe bipolar. It's not the end of the world. I am 48 and about five years ago I found out I have adhd and depression. So all those teachers that told me I was stupid can go kiss my a**. I try to make the best of each day. I take medications daily but, I still struggle and If I make a mistake I just laugh it off because no one is perfect. A lot of famous people have adhd or are bipolar. I swear by medication and you will have a lot less people hating you. I found a support group for adhd and I know they have one for bipolar. Go to meetups.com

Sounds like major depression to me. Major depression with an inadequate psychiatrist. If you had a better psychiatrist, he or she would be treating this more aggressively, and you wouldn't still be feeling this way.

Re the anger: depression can manifest as anger

Re the obsession: could be some OCD there. See link below.

Have you had a physical.? I have blood sugar problems, and they cause me to be so irritable I could scream. I would ask for a checkup with at least a CBC, full thyroid panel, etc. Our physical selves certainly affect our emotional selves, and you could have depression plus a physical imbalance.

Complain about your doctors until you get better ones. The one you have now is not treating you adequately, assuming you have told him or her all that you have posted here.Health Question & Answer

This is a hard question to answer. I will say this, you need to feel like you are understood when seeking any advise on your health. Sometimes we see a doctor and find that we do not feel better or we may feel misunderstood, we feel that maybe there is something else that has not been picked up yet. If you feel like this then a second opinion would be best. It doesn't matter how many doctors you need to see before you find the one you can trust.

Life can be hard at times and as we grow through our teen years we go though a lot of emotions that we have not yet had to deal with, at times these feelings overwhelm us, sometimes someone who just understands how you feel can make life that little bit easy, also remember the people who love you most are the most annoying when you are in need of help but worth every moment of it. Talk to them dont go thourgh this on your own.Health Question & Answer
