Question: How can I finish my homework if I am extremely anxious/stressed out/"panicky".?
I have a lot of homework for tomorrow, but I have bad anxiety problems and right now, it's kicking in. I already took my medicine but the fact that I have so much is still stressful. How can I relax or something to finish all this.?Health Question & Answer

Timelady is right, do it all in steps. Set one task to finish and concentrate on ending it, start with the subject you like the least. Then take 5 minutes (by the clock) and go to the next one, but do everything now.
Do not tease yourself into thinking you will do it tomorrow as you do not know what may happen, you may not have enough time, for example.
Do not drink sugary drinks, do not eat carbs (they make you sleepy), have something with protein in it and keep drinking water. It does help.
And finally, listen to music that can help you focus, preferably something instrumental.
Good luck, and get going!Health Question & Answer

Well first I think you need to give yourself a break. If you're anything like me, you're afraid not to be perfect, god forbid you receive a zero for a homework grade. I'm exactly like that. Then, you need to realize one 0 on a homework really doesn't affect your grade that much. I suggest you do some now, go to bed at reasonable hour, wake up an hour early, and then finish the rest at lunch. Next, do something easy first to boost your confidence. Then, get right into the hard stuff because it will take the longest. Just calm down, breathe, and concentrate on what you are doing. Most importantly, when you've reached your limit, it's ok to take a day off or slack a bit on your homework. You are only human. Health Question & Answer

Chunk it. Do it in little chunks. Pick one small thing to do and block out all the other stuff, even if you have to visualize everything else locked away in a safe or something like that. When you think about the whole job, you freak out. Just try to think about one thing at a time.

If you plan time to do each little chunk of the work and you do it during that time slot, the anxiety will lift.Health Question & Answer
