Question: When you first started taking your medication, how didju feel.?
I started Prozac last night (I have had an anxiety disorder since last May and am at risk for postpartum depression) and I woke up feeling kinda shaky. Not visibly but internally a little bit, nothing horrible, if that makes sense. I have taken it before although, now that I think about it I got off it in my 2nd trimester (I'm 36 weeks pregnant) because it gave me stomachaches. Is it normal to feel kind of shaky the first few days.? Does this go away.? Again I'm taking Prozac but I know with any medication you can have side effects. Well the drugs actually take 2-3 weeks to set in, did you self medicate or see a medical doctor. If you did either of those your dose is probably incorrect and you should talk to a trained psychologist that certified in prescribing that type of medication rather then relying on someone that is not. i am on prozac and your not supposed to feel it in till a couple of weeks but if it turns in to worse depression than you should get taken off you should stay on it for a little longer just to see what happens.Health Question & Answer
on Prozac I didnt feel anythong for a couple weeks then i started feeling better, other drugs like xanax & depakote made me REAL tired right off the bat........Health Question & Answer
