How come i'm always so tired ?!
Question: How come i'm always so tired .?
I'm 14 and i get enough sleep. When i get home from school i get so tired. But its not school that makes me tired because there are days when i dont have school and i feel even more tired. Sometimes i get short breathing & i feel like i'm going to choke.
I cant come home after school without taking a nap. I just feel to dizzy & tired & weak .
I really don't understand this. Do i need more vitamins or what .?
I hate this tired feeling . I enjoy being energetic but lately that seems impossible.
& coffee doesn't help me stay awake either.
i've tried. it does no justice.
Thanks in advanced .Health Question & Answer

I have the same problem quite frequently.
I think you may have anemia. Anemia is a vitamin deficiency that causes youur body to have a hard time distributing oxygen to all its parts.
Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of anemia. Dizziness, tiredness, and weakness are also common symptoms.
It's pretty easy to cure. Try eating foods that are rich in Iron, Vitamin B-12, and Folate/Folic Acid. Cereal is a good source =)
I hope this helps you. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Ah I experience the same thing!
I agree with you that it is not school either and it just happens.
First recommendation would be to stop drinking coffee.
Your probably immune to it and thats why it doesn't work.
Try drinking fruit juice, milk, or tea. also maybe get some daily
vitamins and get active. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

I used to have the same problem and vitamins have really helped me. Get a vitamin that has plenty of iron and B-12 in it. It should do wonders for you! Just make sure not to take them on an empty stomach because if you're like me then they'll make you feel a little queasy.Health Question & Answer
You may be depressed. Watch your mood. If you feel sad the days you can barely stay awake, it may be because you have a depression problem. If you are depressed, talk to a counselor or school therapist. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
you may be anemic, low on vitamins, going thru puberty or sick. The best way to REALLY know whats going on is to see your DR. its better to be safe than sorry. your dr may be able to solve the problem with a simple solution, u just have to go ask for help.Health Question & Answer
the tiredness could be dur diabetes but that doesn't explain the shortness of breath, this could be stress related. Ask a parent to take you to a doctor for tests.Health Question & Answer
