Often when people want to commit suicide it is because something has dramatically affected them in some way. Do you think that a person should be to blame that caused all their pain ( and they knew it) that caused the person to kill themselves, or do you believe no matter what someone does no one is at fault except the person who kills themselves.?Health Question & Answer

I wouldn't put anyone on blame for someone who committed suiced. Traumatic things happen all the time to a lot of people, and not everyone goes down the road of suicide. Some people are better able to deal with their emotions than others. But I also wouldn't blame the suicidal person, as they obviously found it extremely difficult to function day to day as they thought their only option was suicide.Health Question & Answer
I believe in certain situations that there are people to blame in the causes for the person wanting to kill themselves. Such as students being bullied in school to the point they hang themselves! Those students are the ones to blame, but yet nothing can be done about it because they didn't actually kill the person. You can only blame the person that hung themselves for making that final decision to do it though, BUT....for example of the bullys.....they are to blame for putting all the thoughts in the persons head and putting them down to such a low level for them to make this horrible decision to kill themselves. I know it is a horrible situation for the person that does get down so low that they think that death is the only way out! I hate that!Health Question & Answer
If you have done everything in your power to get the person help you can't be responsible for that. People who commit suicide are already depressed and sometimes one last bad thing will cause them to do it. If you knew the person was depressed and didn't provide support that is something only you can answer or ask for forgiveness.Health Question & Answer
No one is really at fault when someone commits suicide. Pain is a part of life. The people we love cause us pain for one reason or another. Maybe they are a little crazy or maybe they are just selfish. People who want to commit suicide usually had something else going on in their head other than just something going wrong. It is usually a culmination of everything at once and feeling like there is no way out. There is always a way out. 99% of the time, the person "responsible" did not intend for the person to kill themselves. And, at the end of the day, they weren't the one who made them do it.

If some 1 kills themself...there is only one person responsible for it and that is themselves.. There is help out there..you just have to find it .. you can not blame one person for the death of another if they took there own life.. It was more than one person who drove them there. no one is at fault exept for the one one who kills himself.. cause they just became to weak facing the facts... but sad to say, due such weakness, others are still being blamed for it.. if a parent or a friend would say "it was his/her fault".. they'll be accused of not caring at all..

It really depends. If you caused them to think that way and could never change them then yeah it is. but if they always thought like that then there is nothing you can do, then no its not your fault. really it depends on how you think about it...Health Question & Answer
In the case where someone is bullied and then commits suicide, or murder, I feel that the bullies should be at fault. Not only the bullies, but their parents for not teaching them better.Health Question & Answer
