Okay, I'm going to let you in a big secret....

Depression and anxiety (stress in general really) causes a hormonal imbalance that causes low stomach acid.

Low stomach acid=nausea.

Does it feel like you can barely eat anything and it makes you queasy.?.? Do you have issues with constipation or belching/passing gas.?.? Those are also signs that your stomach isn't working well because you are depressed/anxious.

Something that has helped me: every morning I drink a small glass of warm water with 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and some honey to sweeten. It gets my stomach in gear and helps me digest my food, which curbs alot of the nausea. Try it for a few days and see if it helps.

also, with low stomach acid, it can cause nutrient deficiency, which in turn makes your depression/anxiety worse. It is a vicious cycle. Try taking a multivitamin or b vitamin complex as well to address any nutrient deficiencies and stop the cycle.

Hope this helps. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Have you seen a doctor about this problem. Maybe the doctor can prescribe you some medication to help you with the anxiety and then maybe the nausea will go away.

I btw have anxiety and took medication which helped me get back to my normal lifestyle. It'll take time but you'll see it will be worth it. Take care.Health Question & Answer

your best option is go see a doctor. if you have anxiety, the d.r will probably prescribe you with with benzodiazepines mmost likely a Diazepam. and if you have depression the d.r will precribe you either Lithium, Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor or Trisyclic anti DepressantHealth Question & Answer

I get both of those things and i never get nausea. You may want to see what that is. It could be any meds you might be taking.Health Question & Answer
