does this work.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Most private sessions under a private practice cost between 80 to 150 for a half hour and 90 to 200 for an hour. If you can get insurance to cover it, then you are looking at just the co-pay. Co-pays for therapist normally run about 25 to 50 on a good plan.

If you feel that you need someone to psychoanalyze you then it will work. If all you need is someone to talk to find a good friend and let it all out. If you just want a neutral person then find a good listener on myspace/facebook/aim etc and type away.

I hope this helped.Health Question & Answer

It depends on where you live. In Ohio, it is around $100 an hour. You can google therapists in your area. Psychology Today also has a directory of therapists, and their listing would show how much they charge per session.

It can work, depending on:
what the problem is
your motivation for seeking help (e.g. is it to change yourself or change someone else.?)
your willingness to work hard
the skill of the therapist

Good luck!Health Question & Answer

You need to do a little research, call a few places. Ask friends for referrals, and how much they pay. My son pays $125 for a one-hour visit, but if you qualify, your local county family services will be much less.Health Question & Answer

My experience has been $5/hr (when on sliding scale based on income) up to $110/hr. The average rate is about $90Health Question & Answer
