Bulimia.. Where to go?!

Question: Bulimia.. Where to go.?
I've recently quit therapy and medication, and though I did not speak in sessions, and the medication did little to elevate my mood, It seems I have taken a dramatic turn for the worse. I'm moving countries and I'm not sure what to do. I dont know if i'll be able to beat this on my own this time, but it feels like with only a few months before I leave, I should wait until i get to my new home and get settled and go from there. However, at the same time, I have a feeling by the time those few months are here, well.. yea. Im fainting and cant sleep, my teeth and jaw ache really bad and it sounds bad, and the times in between when the pain is the only thing i can think about i see that i'm hurting myself, but then it disappears and i'm left thinking one more time wont hurt. I've been to clinics and psychiatrists for about 6-7 years now, (19), and the eating disorders change and morph all the time.. and i always manage to live, and i do it alone. Just really confused right now, sorry!

I just dont know what to do right now, if anyone has any helpful sugguestions.? I want to get better. I would really appreciate anything right now =)Health Question & Answer

ive had bulimia and restriciting for 9 years, im 21. i really know how hard it is to deal with on your own, and i also know how overwhelming it seems to talk to people who might not understand completely, might say things that you are sensitive to, and they honestly might make you feel worse at times.. but it is all worth it in the end. i kept it a secret for a long time and finally last year i got help and although i was terrified of being away, in the long run it really has helped me a lot. i'm not completely recovered but i have definitely learned different coping skills and things to help me deal without turning to food.

my biggest regret is waiting so long to get help. my advice would be NOT to wait the 'few months'.. if you are questioning your health in your head then you should at least get some medical advice from a professional.. take care of yourself, once you do that you may find yourself able to let go of some of this.Health Question & Answer

You might try a site that has several articles on eating disorders and includes bulimia. Hope it's helpful.
