What do I do about an unmedicated Split Personality I actually get along with?!

Question: What do I do about an unmedicated Split Personality I actually get along with.?
His name is Archades Macleod, he's been around for years. I didn't let my Doctors at Riley Hospital know about him because I don't want medication for it. I take way too much as it is for the CF, and Depression. I don't really mind him being in my head unless he starts thinking too loudly and it gives me a headache, Should I introduce him to my Doctors or see someone about it or just live as I have been.?Health Question & Answer

According to what i have learned in psychology class, people suffering from dissociative identity disorder are unaware of the other personalities that co-exists within their minds. I could be wrong about this, but i did just take a test over it and remember this very clearly. Perhaps what you have is the onset of schizophrenia.? In which case, yes you should absolutely tell your health care professional about your symptoms. No one on yahoo will be able to correctly diagnose you, but your dr will have a better chance doing so. here, you can read more about both disorders at the links i have provided...

Best of luck to you. if you dont want to tell your dr about your symptoms, it is up to you, but my advice is you do. If you have a serious disorder, it will eventually take over your mind, but as of now i assume you are in a stable enough place to recognize your symptoms, and it is most likely in the beginning stages.Health Question & Answer

I thought Riley hospital was for kids with...cancer... and what you are describing (or more the WAY you are describing it) sounds like total bs. Someone with DID wouldn't be approaching it in this manner. Stop making a mockery of those of us that actually have some sort of mental disorder.Health Question & Answer
