Do I drink too much liquids?!

Question: Do I drink too much liquids.?
Today, I drank a ton! I had a 16.9 fl oz bottle of water, a 44 fl oz of raspberry tea from Sonic, and 3X 20 fl oz of Vidration (like vitamin water)... I also had cereal this morning and I had all the milk. And I pee a ton too and it seems that I pee more than I drink. I had breakfast at 9 I think for the cereal. Then, I had the water in the morning around 11 (idk) and I peed at 3 or so, and I got the tea at 2:30ish - Happy hour half price ;) - then I got a Vidration a little bit later with a bit of tea left. I probably peed twice.? Then for dinner I finished my tea and got a new Vidration (the other was empty by then) and then I peed 3 times in about an hours time. A few minutes ago I finished my third Vidration and peed right before asking this question. And my pee is extremely clear. What's wrong and why am I drinking so much, I didn't really exercise at all, just play the violin for an hour.

Most other days I drink a lot also - 2 water bottles, a tea, 2 glasses of chocolate milk, and milk in my cereal, so its not just the Vidration, this is everyday.

Please only serious answers and thanks in advance!Health Question & Answer

Excessive thirst could indicate a need to have blood sugar checked, but you don't mention consuming fluids to satisfy insatiable thirst, however.

It is recommended that we drink about 64 oz of water daily (1/2 gallon) or more. And drinking this much fluid will flush the uric acid causing our urine to be much lighter in color. Flushes kidneys and improves their functioning abilities.

Today you consumed roughly 120 oz of fluids, but this is not what you normally consume.?

If you are consuming large amounts of fluids in response to insatiable thirst, do contact your physician.Health Question & Answer

You might want to check your blood sugar to make sure that you don't have diabetes. I personally was diagnosed at a late age for what they used to call Juvenile Diabetes (now known as Type 1) after drinking A LOT of fluids each day. It is one of the signs...

Hope this is not your case....Health Question & Answer

if you drink more than youur average intake. your body will respond by trying to get rid of it. causing you to urinate more often and end up urinating more liquid than you have drank. So don't be suprised if you lost wieght because some water wieght was most likely lost.Health Question & Answer

You drink a lott.Health Question & Answer

omg wow i dont even drink that much! you do drink alot though it could be a sign of diabetes!:)Health Question & Answer

if you think your drinking an abnormally large amount you might want to go see your doctor, especially if diabetes runs in your family. it could be any number of things but the first serious issue that comes to mind from your description is diabetes, of which drinking a lot is characteristic.

a person with diabetes has a lack of insulin (a hormone that allows blood glucose or sugar to move into the body cells) in there blood. as a result, blood glucose raises dramatically (hyperglycemia). so as blood is passed through the kidneys, normally glucose is removed from the urine early on. but because it is in such high concentration, part of it remains and increases the osmotic pressure in the vessels where this takes place. the increased pressure inhibits water from being re-absorbed by the kidneys and therefore there is a higher volume of urine and greater water loss. Thus, you pee a lot and now you must drink a lot to make up for it.Health Question & Answer
