Hi, I'm heading to the drs in an hour, but wanted to see if you brilliant people had an idea of what this is... I felt great yesterday, but by last night I had a very sore throat - ONLY when I swallow.. not when I talk or breath, not dry or scratchy.. no cold symptoms, extremely tired and NO energy or appetite.. just want to curl up in a ball and not swallow! haha.. :)

I think strep can come on fast. Or, it could be post nasal drip making your throat sore. Listen to your Dr.

You're fine. I was at the ER last night for my husband who has all kinds of problems, and EVERYONE else there was for a cold. or sore throat. or fever. weather can cause it. I am in California and have a sore throat and dry itchy skin from the windy weather.Health Question & Answer
