I always thought Tylenol was someone's name, but looking it up it's like most other drugs: the name is steamed from the chemicals it contains.

My mom came up with the name of some drug 15 years ago, but i have forgotten the name.
She worked at a (med) drug research company, and still does as a senior project manager.
She tells me that a lot of drugs are named from contests like the one that my mom won (she got $750)
