Question: How do I convince my mom to take me to the doctors.?!.?
Ok. So I have had 4 episodes where my stomach hurts SOOO bad that I can barely breathe. also for the past week whenever I eat dinner I get a horrible stomache and have bad diarrhea(I know ew!). Well I told her about it more than once and she just keeps saying "oh ya that sounds like IBS. It'll go away"....sure it might be!!! but what if its not!!! I am really scared especially about the first thing I mentioned...the pain is unbearable! She told me to keep a food diary but now she is pretty much convinced its IBS and doesn't even seem to care. Can't she see that I am super concerned about this.? What can I do to tell her I want to go to the doctors! I have flat out told her that I think I should go to a doctor because we have insurance so it would be $5 but she says "Oh wait till...." what should I do.?.? Oh and I can't go to a school nurse...she is literally at our school once a month! thanks in advanceHealth Question & Answer

Just calm down. What it sounds like it could be is an allergy to either dairy, or gluten. Why don't you try cutting out one at a time and see if it does anything. It could also be IBS, which is also no big deal.
However, I agree with you, you should go to a doctor, because you sound uncomfortable. Why don't you try telling her just how worried you are, and how much pain you are in. Tell her that if it's nothing, than you are sorry.
