Why is smoking weed bad?!
Question: Why is smoking weed bad.?
After reading some people ask about smoking weed the average answers were saying the same thing ignorant negative things. Now i'm pretty sure i know what 70 percent of you are going to say.
Examples would be... It's bad for your health, You can die from it, Addiction, Leads to other bad drugs, Impairs you, Bad habit, Cost to much.
Some of that, if not a lot of that is true. I my self smoke weed. I am very well mannered, I dress, look conservative, and am not addicted to any other "drug". So why is it bad.? I would have to say its because people say its bad, and when a majority of people say something about someone or something... A lot of people believe it with out giving it to much of a second thought. Smoking weed is bad for your health. You lose as many brain cells smoking weed as you do hitting your head with your hand. As for dying from it... That statement is completely false. Unless your smoking like 50 joints every second you can't OD. Weed has no addictive substance in its natural form. The only way to get addicted to it is if someone tampers with it, or you get mentally addicted to it... which you can to pretty much everything in life. Weed also impairs your thoughts and actions, but compared to just drinking alcohol, it's nothing. Even when impaired by weed the only thing thats altered is you become more lazy and laugh, and get munchies. That to me sounds pretty harmless. Weed can cause a habit, true. But so can playing games, smoking cigs, drinking, biting nails, and buying shoe's. The list can go on an on. As long as you know what your getting into the habit shouldn't form to bad, and even if it does, the cost of weed is little. it costs me about 18 bucks to have one good night at a party with alcohol, But it cost me 20 bucks to have a months worth of nice times with friends and compared to the other bad hardcore stuff its relatively cheap. A tab of acid normally ranges from 8-15 bucks, and a "good" mushroom trip is from 15-20 bucks. Weed can become that gateway drug leading to those addictions but about 70 percent of the time people skip weed and go right to the bad stuff. In Asia, and the middle east, weed is a religious herb used by Hindus, Muslims, Sikh, Rastafari, and Ancient Hebraic. also if your just anti drug, then i would hope your not drinking coffee, pop, or even taking tylenol or advils. All of those are even worse then smoking weed as YOU CAN OD ono those drugs, yet we use them as relief. It confuses me and im pretty sure a lot of other people, what society deems right and wrong. Because apparently it was right to use slaves... to kill when one look at another wrong, have kids used for labor, and have kids in porno.

Not entirely. And I'm not just saying that because I smoke.
The downside is that it IS illegal, which I seriously don't know why it is. If weed is illegal then beer should be too. How many accidents do you hear about that are caused by people that are high.? None. And how many include drunk drivers...ALOT.
But like you said, it's impossible to become physically addicted to weed unless it's laced. and whoever does that and doesn't tell you is sick.
Before I started smoking I thought of it as a negative thing. But now, I definitely don't see it the same way. I researched it. yes...researched. lol. I had to know exactly what I was getting into. And after reading articles...both pro and against I really couldn't see the harm in it.
Remember when you were growing up and teachers always said if you smoke
you'll lose all your friends...HA! LIES! If anything it brings you closer together.
But I absolutly agree with you. I think weed isn't that bad compared to many other things.

woah. I just caught something. It only cost you 20 bucks for a month supply.? ...that's not right. It's about 20 per gram. And you usually smoke about half yourself, even if your sharing it with friends. A gram is about enough for two people...three, but that's pushing it a lil.Health Question & Answer

Yes, weed really is that bad. Now don't get me wrong. I personally know friends who smoke pot who are GREAT people. They take care of their children, have normal jobs, and take care of themselves. But there is a HUGE amount of people who choose not to do those things. And buying and smoking weed also comes with a price. Not everyone acts the same while smoking pot. wow, i completely agree with what you just said, but i can't really answer your question. The only thing i could say is people over-exagerate or could have incorrect information about it. But i don't really see how weed is that bad.Health Question & Answer
