Question: Help I can't sleep! .?
I can't sleep and I usually have trouble sleeping... Like I can't get to sleep easily...
I don't like tea and stuff like that, no pills right now.Health Question & Answer

I have the same problem as you. I love tea, but don't usually feel like getting up and making it, or my two puppies will wake up and plus I am kinda lazy once I get to the point where I am in bed. Read, watch tv, do something to keep your mind distracted. Chances are your mind feels like there are so many things it could be doing other than hibernation, and is overflipping keeping you awake. As long as you can occupy your mind, let your body do the work and put you to sleep. Something I learned to do usually works within seconds, sometimes longer but usually I am asleep and wake up without remembering ever falling asleep. You close your eyes and take in the darkness. Let it wash over you, freeze your mind. Focus only on the deep black. Imagine delving deeper into it until you are lost. Actually perform the action of expanding and contracting your pupils as you dig deeper into the darkness and therefor unconsciousness. You will fall asleep quickly. :)Health Question & Answer

Now if your doing drugs cant help you there. But if your clean and just cant fall asleep, try this:: (1)..Drink a tall or 2 glasses of milk one hour before wanting to fall asleep and eat some turkey ( just roll up some slices) and that will really help you body calm down for beddy bye! Dont like milk, take two calcium/magnesium pills the same way.
(2) Or soak in the tub for 20-30 minutes in the hottest water you can stand, add some liquid soap or bubble bath in there and relex and then drink your milk.

I just ate a bowl of cereal, it help me sleep. Having something in your stomach really helps.
also, if you have Tylenol or Advil or Motrin, double the maximum dose and it WILL calm you alot.
When you are in bed, pretend you are lying on the beach, in the sun.
