I've mixed those 2 for the last 10 yrs, not one problem. Just go easy on the Xanax, it's like Benadryl. Too much will make you want a nap.

Marijuana and Xanax cause no harmful drug interactions as far as I know (I have a lot of experience in prescription drug interactions).
However, marijuana can cause paranoia and anxiety in some people depending on your surroundings (i.e. around other people who you want to hide the fact that you are high from).
Depending on why you're taking Xanax in the first place, this would be something to avoid (if you have anxiety problems in the first place, it's not a good idea to put yourself in situations that can cause anxiety). If you take the Xanax just to get high, it should be fine.
