Yeah, I tried one of those irrigators and sneezed so hard - I swear my sneezes registered on the Richter scale! I suffer periodic post nasal drip and an antihistamine called Chlortrimeton works for me. The generic name of this is Chlorpheniramine Maleate. The generic drug is just as good as the brand name but costs a lot less. Chlortrimeton may not work for you. It makes some people sleepy. That's a common side effect with antihistamines. You need to find one that stops the post nasal drip and has tolerable side effects, if any.
