while i was at er today a doctor told me that i have hernia and kidney stone. Now they gave me an appointment for these. My semester has just started as i was going to pay on the due date of my college, i went to the hospital.. now do you guys think i should take off this semester.? does anyone know how long it would take before Im out of this...?Health Question & Answer

Depending on how bad your hernia is they can do a laproscopic surgery, healing time is a couple of days for that (well healing to the point that going to classes would be ok, not strenuous physical stuff) The kidney stones usually do not put you out of commission very long either. Talk to your professors tell them what's going on and most will be happy to work with you as both of these things should take a week max to have you back to class again. Of course this is a general statement and your case may be different so maybe your MD has a better answer for you.Health Question & Answer
