Which is more hazardous to your health? Overeating-OR- train smoking &/or binge drinking alcohol?!

Question: Which is more hazardous to your health.? Overeating-OR- train smoking &/or binge drinking alcohol.?
Answers:
I would say in the short term, chain smoking/binge drinking. Both can lead to a pretty quick death, since they are literally poisoning your body at a fast rate. Binge drinking is probably the more risky, since if you go too overboard with the alcohol, you can suffer from alcohol poisoning, which can be fatal.

Over the long term, perhaps overeating - but remedies for that are simple and often effective. Even once you have a condition such as high cholesterol/type II diabetes, a change in diet/lifestyle can bring about significant change. But once you've smoked too much and give yourself lung cancer, you in the hands of the gods....Health Question & Answer

I don't know what "train smoking" is, do you mean Chain smoking.? They all have their own health risks, and there is no simple answer, as genetics can play a part in the development of any disease. Binge drinking is bad because it damages the liver far more than drinking moderate amounts regularly, and a lot of younger people are being seen with end stage liver disease, due to the fact that they binge drink. also of course it puts you at risk of having unprotected sex when completely sozzled, it can also increase the risk of breast cancer, and if a smoker as well oral cancer and oesphagal cancer. Chain smoking leads at worst to lung cancer or cardiac arrests, as well as emphysema, and venous damage, one kind can cause the circulation to get so bad in the legs that amputation is necessary. Overeating is bad because it leads to obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart problems. Overall the overeating is very slightly less hazardous, and can be reversed. Overall a healthy lifestyle with moderate amounts of alcohol, eating a healthy diet with the occasional treat, exercise and not smoking is the best policy.Health Question & Answer

I think short term, drinking is most dangerous. Over time, smoking causes the most damage. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say overeating, because of all the health risks associated with being obese. And quitting overeating is not as simple as quitting smoking or quitting drinking... obviously those are all hard, but it is possible to quit them cold turkey. You can't quit eating, you have to learn to control it and that's nearly impossible when every time you eat you get the positive effects that have led you to overeat in the first place.Health Question & Answer

Binge drinking is by far the worst, it can kill you in a matter of months because once your liver goes, thats it. Chain smoking is second, it takes a few years but the effects are reversible if you stop smoking and let your lungs regrow healthy tissue. Overeating wont really kill you as fast... unless you're eating gross fatty foods that clog your arteries and make you have a heart attack but even that takes a while.Health Question & Answer

Smoking and binge drinking are definitely more hazardous to your health than overeating, although I'm not promoting any of the activities in any way. Smoking is the number one killer in the United States, and alcohol is also amongst these statistics.Health Question & Answer

Overeating is a chronic thing, so immediatley, no. it will take years for it to really effect your health. then smoking. It can kill you in a matter of two or so years. Then drinking. Drink enough and over a few months, you can blow out your liver and die from liver failure.Health Question & Answer

They are all bad for you, but the drinking and smoking are much more fun.........Health Question & Answer
