I can never sleep.....?!
Question: I can never sleep......?
i was tired ALL day i fell asleep in all my morning classes. i couldnt in my afternoon classes. now its time to go to sleep but all of a sudden im not tired anymore.
and also i get STARVING during the night, like around 11. and it def. keeps me up. what should i eat.? i know i probably shouldnt eat but i cant sleep on an empty stomach.
im up till about 2am then wake up at 7. and im even more tired than i was when i went to sleep.
on the weekends i usually get tired around midnight then i can sleep easily then i wake up around 11.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
First, I'd force yourself to eat a big breakfast in the morning, and do something active if possible. Then, stay away ALL day, and have regular meals (lunch around noon, dinner around 6ish, and a snack around 10ish). Go to bed an hour after having the snack (11ish) and try to sleep. Don't get out of bed until the next day, no matter how hungry you are. You could try taking melatonin, which is a natural sleep aid (don't over do it, 1/2 of a pill should put you to sleep). Whatever you do, DON'T take naps during the day, and on the weekends FORCE yourself to get up by 8 or 9am. Hopefully after a week of this, your body will adjust and shift your sleep (and hunger) to 'regular' times.
