How do I stop myself from waking in the middle of the night?!


Question: How do I stop myself from waking in the middle of the night.?
I go to sleep around 10 or 10:30 PM, and I'm supposed to wake up at 8 AM, but for the past week or so, I've been waking up at about 5 AM and having trouble falling to sleep again. I might even wake up again after that, but I'm too tired to tell usually. How do I stop this.? I really need a good night's sleep. It's probably not very good for my brain or body either.Health Question & Answer

I had this problem. Kept waking up at the same time for a while. So I set my alarm for a few minutes prior to see if there was a cause. Turned out to be a very faint military base trumpets. Once I learned this I was able to sleep through it! Funny.

If thats not it, you are probably anxious about something. New job.? Crush on someone you can't wait to see. The economy.?! Yikes. Once you figure out what it is you will relax more. I don't consider sleeping pills a good solution.Health Question & Answer

This happens as you age. Most of the time it is due to having to go to the bathroom. Try not to drink especially alcohol or coffee at night before bed. I stopped drinking coffee all together. Make sure you go to the doctor and get your blood pressure checked. You may be having a medical problem and don't know it. I had a racing heart beat, I am on medication now and sleeping better.
