When you get a new driving license, tell them you want to be an organ donor. They'll type that right on the license.
You can also get the proper forms from your local library. Go to the Reference desk for help.
Btw, Bless you for wanting to save another life. It's unfortunate that they don't ASK everyone at the DMV if they want to be an organ donor. You have to tell them. That's not right. :)Health Question & Answer

you can sign up to be an organ donor when you get your drivers license.
and if you want your heart to go to like a medical examiner there are papers you can fill out at the time of your death.
just make sure someone in your family knows and that it is in writing in case you die suddenly.Health Question & Answer
