having sleeping problems can be terrible because one feels exhausted each morning
I can not solve your sleeping problem, I can only give you some hints

many people can not sleep because they have an internal talking and they discuss their problems with themselves in the night

general advice (they sound simple but hard to follow)

1) try to do physical exercises each day, these exercises must have influence on your heart and respiratory system
jogging, cycling, swimming are the best
read the famous book by Cooper: Aerobics, he also elaborated a simple point system
for example: 3 times 5 km jogging in 25-30 minutes is considered ideal for maintaining your health

2) try to do autogenic training or some other kind of relaxation technique

a bit simplified: two or three times a day you have to relax trying to feel peace

Hmm! Sleeping problems can be the result of many activities. Quite likely, you just need to adjust some habits and that will help you get on a better track.

1. Don't drink / eat caffeine. If you absolutely must have some in the morning, at least don't have any after noon. It stays in the system for quite a while. 8. If you lie in bed for more than about 30 or 40 minutes without sleeping, get back up. Don't get on the computer or turn on the TV, try something like going for a short walk, or reading a bit, or some other quiet activity, and then try sleep again in a little bit.

here is a permanent and effective solution of you sleep problem
lie on your sleeping bed or place. be full comfortable.
" You should recite or chant a mantra or certain personal words or sayings, which you keep on repeating in your mind. This would help your mind to concentrate. You will feel your brain relaxing, as you will be thinking only of those words, which you will be saying. .

After you have finished you can tell yourself that you have reached a beautiful state of relaxation of the mind and body.
see your self yourself going down on staircase of which the last step is sleep .
without knowing you will fall in to deep sleep.

reapeat the above excersise untill you fall into sleep.
As you practice it, you can discover which method works best for you. and few days you practice it you will cure you practice.

I have problems sleeping myself, and I've tried to figure out what to do about it. I don't ant to get ambien just because pretty quickly a person develops a chemical dependency on it, and Tylenol PM and over the counter meds are hti and miss for me. At this point I just say **** it and either fall asleep at some point or lay in bed all night not carign about falling asleep or just make up for it int he next couple days when I eventually get to sleep.Health Question & Answer

Honestly, probably should try going to the doctors if you are really concerned about it and tired of the insomnia. They could give you some stronger sleeping pills. Or try some different over the counter sleeping pills, possibly even stuff like nyquil or something. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

stay up all night and then force yourself to stay awake during the following day so that your body is totally ready for sleep. then don't sleep in too late and don't take any naps.
