What can I drink when i am sick?!


Question: What can I drink when i am sick.?
I woke up with the stomach flu and anytime i drink anything i start feeling sick again. I have sipped water, gatorade, fruit syrup, warm water, and that's it. anybody have any suggestion. Im dying of thrust but cant keep em down. Im feel HORRIBLE!!!!any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. also any other tips on how to feel better... im not eating and i refuse to rite now i have NO appetite, and still a bit queasyyHealth Question & Answer

It sounds as though you have tried pretty much everything and they are all great ideas.

My mum always said to drink flat lemonade, it tastes absolutely terrible but seems to work. You could also try to sip some peppermint tea it sometimes works for me.

If it goes on for more than a couple of days you could go to the doc to get an anti nausea medication so you don't dehydrate.

Have so tried making gatorade or juice icy poles/popsicles.? When i worked on the paediatric ward the kiddies loved em and could always keep them down!!!

If you don't feel good enough to eat water, just don't even drink anything. But the best would actually be water. Just drink water a little bit at a time. Like one sip whenever you really get thirsty. You have to drink some or else you'll get dehydraeted. Just try to drink water a little bit at a time. Hope you feel better!Health Question & Answer
