I really need serious help finding out what this med is?!

Question: I really need serious help finding out what this med is.?
Well, my husband found some pills in our 15 years bag. (No, he wasn't snooping, he was just actually looking for a pen and her bag was sitting right there on the floor by the couch). She told me a while ago that one of her friends gave her some medication that day for her cramps and that it was a prescription. First of all I told her how very dangerous that was for her because she didn't know what med it was. She said that it didn't make her feel "funny", just took away her cramps. I told her she must never do that again. I also told her she knows that she will be expelled from school for doing that. Anyway the pill looks to be the size of a prescription strength Ibuprofen. But doesn't have any of the same numbers or letters on it. An Ibuprofen has 800 on one side and IP
with 137 under it on the other. This pill is oblong, white, kinda big, has a score mark down the middle. On the left side of the score mark it has RCC on the right side it has GPE and blank on the back. I have three other children that are older than her (16, 17 and 18). I am not naive to what teens can do. I really hope that this is nothing but if anyone REALLY knows what this is or where I can find out please let me know. It's one thing if it's something like Ibuprofen but really need to know if it's not so I can take care of this before it gets out of hand. Thanks for any help and please no horrible "your daughters a ____________ answers. I'm already frustrated and worried enough. I need positive feedback :)Health Question & Answer

Problem with pills is that they can look differently depending on what pharmacy fills them and what brand they go with. So unless you know the source and can see the bottle your kinda shooting in the dark. Now, my advice is this. I would take the pills from her and tell her that if she has problems with cramps that you can help her get through that and she isn't allowed to take pills like this ever again.
If she protests her privacy being violated then I would get all commando parent on her. "As long as your living in my house under my roof I have a right as parent to look into anything you have. I told you before your not allowed to take pills from friends but if you insist on continuing to take things like this your life will be harder on you. I will go as far as drug testing you if I have to. You have already violated trust here by taking pills that I asked you not to take. So until you can do as I asked I will monitor the situation and do what I think is right."

End of discussion. Do not be a passive parent too afraid to stand up to their kids. You have a right to know exactly every detail of their life until they are old enough to live on their on. So take the pills and tell her if she needs something for cramps that you will get her something that helps. If pills are found in her purse again or room or wherever else then being grounded will be the next step.

You have to stand firm now because drugs are so previlant in schools and every where else. Do not blow this off but take an offensive roll in preventing your child from getting on something that will destroy her life.

Thats my advice for what its worth..Health Question & Answer
