Question: "Is obesity 'caught' like a virus.?".?
That's a question on Yahoo!'s front page today. They really will seize on any excuse so that no one has to take any personal responsibility for things, won't they.? I'm overweight, and I know what I need to do. I admit that it's difficult to do, but that doesn't make it a virus, or even a disease, for that matter. It's root is a set of habits that become very hard to break. I hereby take responsibility for mine. Who's with me.?Health Question & Answer

Certain scientific groups will do any study they can, no matter how stupid question is or how obvious the answer is.
Of course obesity isn't contagious - being overweight is not a disease. You might be influenced by someone else's bad habits, but that's not quite the same thing. The whole study is utterly ridiculous, if you ask me.Health Question & Answer
