Question: My leg is in extreme pain.?

For the past week I have had this nagging ache in my right leg. It started in both my hips, but now is mainly in my right hip. It has radiated down my leg to my knee area as well now.
I went to the doctor and they said it was because I was 13 weeks pregnant, and the joints soften.
I think it is ridiculous, because I cannot walk and am practically bedridden. Driving myself to the doctor's appointment today was so painful I was almost in tears.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this.? I haven't pulled anything either! I am going to an orthopedist this week, but in the meantime am in so much pain! I can only take one tylenol every 4-6 hours =(
So if you have had this during pregnancy, what prescription painkiller could they give you.?.?

My hips hurt a lot when I was pregnant. They can give you a very low dose of hydrocodone. They dont like too because it can be unsafe. But it is mainly tylenol with a little codine. I think your pain is more severe then mine was but mine hurt badly as well. Hang in thereHealth Question & Answer
