Question: Bad earache - please help me figure out the cause!.?
I have had an earache off and on for about a month now.
Everytime it comes back it gets worse and I am starting to get more ear wax and I need to turn up the tv a bit more than usual (maybe my ear is blocked).
I don't feel sick or have sinus problems at the moment so I don't know what is causing it. My hygiene is good (always try to make sure my ears are free of visible earwax).
I am allergic to a lot of things, so I am hesitant to flush it out with something. I want to see a doctor tomorrow to get treated
***But does anyone know what might be causing it.?.?.?

Do you get a lot of water in your ears when you clean them out.?
That might be your problem (I know it causes ear infections in dogs, and possibly in humans, that part im not 100% sure about).
You could have an infection and you want to go see a doctor asap, they are aware of your allergies and will know what to prescribe.Health Question & Answer

You most likely have a perforated eardrum. Pain is the most common symptom of a perforated eardrum. It can range from general discomfort to immediate or intense pain, or you may just feel as if there is something not right with the ear.

You don't want to hear this, but... call your Doctor. You never never never want to mess with any problems you are having above your neck. Any kind of infection can cause permanent brain damage if not treated.Health Question & Answer
You have an Otitis interna infection. Possibly an Otitis extra infection too. Better get to the doctor. You are going to go hard of hearing if this is not cleared up.Health Question & Answer
