Has anyone had laser eye treatment?!

My aunt just got the really extreme laser eye surgery done. She was in pain like way bad the first couple nights, and it was hard for her to see, and it still is like she can't read books or anything yet, and she got it a few weeks ago. But it was a success I'm guessing, because she said her eyes have improved. I don't know how much it was, but it was probably more because she had the extreme surgery not just the normal.Health Question & Answer

I have had it, and so have my mother and my grandmother. It was very successful for al three of us. It takes less than a day to recover from it, and afterwards you don't have to worry about wearing glasses ever again. The success rate is very high. It is a routine procedure nowadays and if you're considering getting it, I see no reason for you not to.

On average, without insurance it will cost about $400 per eye. If you do have insurance that covers this, it's just your regular co pay. =)

A friend had it done fairly recently. She had to have it done a second time because there was a small wrinkle in the lens.
