i thought the rarest blood type was O but my friends said it wasnt and so did a teacher but now we dont know what it is.......

AB- I'm 110% sure O is the most common and O has no protein on it. A blood has the protein A. B blood has the B protein on it. And so on

A blood can be given to a person with A blood or AB blood
B blood can be given to a person with B blood or AB blood
AB blood can be given only to people with AB blood
O blood and be given to anyone
But O blood can only get blood from an O blood donation
