Answers:
Just eat food that is high in iron- it will help boost your blood levels, and that should help the platelets indirectly. broccoli, cabbage, liver, spinach- are all good for the blood. cabbage also protects from cancer.Health Question & Answer

You have ITP!.? That's a very rare disorder, you know.? Sorry about that. Anyway, there are simply no foods that can increase your platelet count directly. But as far as I know in my health care studies, if you have ITP (which is Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, as you may already know...), your blood does not clot well. So to increase your platelet count and clotting factors, I recommend the following:

1. Green, leafy vegetables (to increase Vitamin K, thus increasing your body's clotting factors, thereby increasing platelet count.)
2. Lean meats (Meats contain protein, which is substantial in creating new cells, including platelets.)Health Question & Answer
