Probably about as risky as NOT having breast reduction, because that causes a lot of back pain...... :(
Using anesthesia, she won't feel anything, of course until she wakes up, but every surgery where they cut you opn in some way has to hurt..

They remove some tissue.. Unless the doctor is incompetant, or the hospital insanitary, there is little risk.. All surgery has risks, however..Health Question & Answer
