Loud music, or any loud noise can take your hearing away, Water trapped in your inner ear canal , or bacteria from a sinus infection can cause an ear ache.. Wear ear plugs to protect your eardrums from the excessive noise, if other people can hear your music when you are wearing headphones, you have the volume up too high..For the record, there are no stupid questions, sometimes dumb answers, but no stupid questions..Health Question & Answer

Listening to loud music will not cause an ear infection however, loud music on your headphones WILL cause hearing loss and some day you may need hearing aids which is the reason for learning to turn it down.. also keep in mind your hobbies or work.. If you do activities like lawn mowing, you should be wearing foam earplugs to preserve your hearing.. They should be a part of your safety equipment..
