Hair is to keep you warmer so possibly thats why her body reacts that way.. I know anorexic women actually start to grow a lot of hair on their body after a while because their body is attempting to keep warm with such little body mass.. (Thats in extreme cases of anorexia that would be noticeable and apparent which I doubt she has)

Idk but when I get cold the hair on my legs grows back too..I don't even have to be shivery cold I just have to get goosebumps..When I am on vacation and swimming alot , my hair grows back faster and my nails grow quicker.. This has always been a mystery to me too!Health Question & Answer
