Yes, I've seen this. It is part of the addiction, unfortunately. Person is angry and mean for no reason, barely able to speak at all. They go have a couple cigarettes and all of a sudden, they are human again!

Definitely. If they have a nicotine addiction and they're craving a cigarette, they will get irritable and mean. This is no different than a druggie craving a fix and getting violent or a person who's really hungry acting out of character until they get some food in their stomach. It's a matter of how addicted the person is and how long they've been without the drug they crave.
