I have a cold. What can I eat?!

Question: I have a cold. What can I eat.?
Bonjour, so I have a cold sick type thing. So, I'm kind of hungry, what should I eat.? I mean, I don't have soup, and today I've had: Cheerios with an apple for breakfast, a granola bar later, then for lunch it was a bottle of water and turkey, lettuce, and tomato sandwhich. And then some salt and vinegar potato chips, and then for dinner was two pieces of dry toast. I'm kind of hungry right now. Ideas.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Dry toast is good. Chicken noodle soup. Ginger ale (with actual ginger in it). My mom used to give me popsicles but I'm not sure if that was for medical purposes or to just make me feel better. Saltines are good too.Health Question & Answer

You can eat whatever you like, actually. Having a cold you really should try to eat healthier, though. Your body needs the extra energy to fight off the virus, and eating will provide that. It also provides materials needed to repair any damage that gets done. Diary products will tend to make things feel thicker and perhaps make you want to gag- and it will be harder to blow or spit things out- but the dairy itself won't hurt you at all. What you want to eat and what you do eat will really be more limited by what's in the fridge and cupboard than the fact you have a cold. Dry toast isn't exactly dinner, and salt/vinegar chips are not really a great snack, it's no wonder you are hungry now. So whatever you chose, it ought to be a decent meal.Health Question & Answer

You need lots and lots of citrus. Eat and drink the juice.
Eat a bowl of fruits inclusive of pineapple, and guava.
