Most vegans are very healthy and they don't consume any cholesterol.

Whatever cholesterol we need we synthesize ourselves. Cholesterol from food is extra cholesterol that we don't really need. We don't need to ingest any cholesterol from food.

This situation is similar to vitamin C as most mammals (except guinea pigs and humans) synthesize their own vitamin C so they don't need to ingest it from food. Health Question & Answer

Yes, it is actually worse then having higher cholesterol.

You need cholesterol for your brain, nervous system and hormonal glands to function properly. Not to mention cardiovascular health, you could get thinning of the blood.

Chances of cancer are increased with lower cholesterol past a point. Health Question & Answer

Your cholesterol can be too low. Your body will make it if you do not consume any if you eat the right materials for its production. Health Question & Answer
