Question: What is squirting .? Is there a literal squirting of fluid visible on the outside .? I have never seen it..?
Is it just a figure of speech, for an emission of liquid .?

I visualise "squirting" as a propulsion.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Yes there is literal squirting of fluid. No, it is not urine as the person above me claimed. It is fluid akin to the lubrication fluid produced by glands around the vagina.

Squirting or female ejaculation seems to be largely the result of a G-spot orgasm and the Skene's glands that are in the area of the G-spot. The fluid is produced by the glands and released by the contractions of orgasm. I find in myself that if there is a lot of pressure on my G-spot by either a guy that is very big or has a couple of fingers inserted and is moving them very vigorously that I will squirt the fluid when orgasming, but usually do not do so if only my clitoris is being stimulated without anything inside the vagina. also, the G-spot orgasms tend to be very intense.

Interestingly, it seems that some women do not have Skene's glands and this may explain why some women don't seem to have a G-spot and don't seem to be able to orgasm during intercourse or have a 'vaginal orgasm' while others like myself do. Thus, some women will squirt under the right circumstances while others never do.
