You can make a tea from dried thyme leaves. Just steep the leaves in a sachet or tea ball. Then add 1/4 c. of the tea to a mug of chamomile tea. Add honey, which is so good for you when you're sick. For the sore throat, gargle warm salty water every few hours. Its not pleasant, but It helps..

put a pearl of garlic in ur mouth and keep the mouth shut for 15 mins
drink some milk with a teaspoon of turmeric powder
keep drinking warm water (preferably hot)
